 Licences and ReportsBord na Móna Energy Limited has been granted integrated pollution control licences, for all of its peat harvesting operations, by the Environmental Protection Agency. The licences cover specific groups of production bogs, which are outlined on the Energy Resources Map. Copies of the individual Annual Environmental Reports may be downloaded in pdf format by clicking on each location:
Each of the licences requires continuous monitoring and reporting of environmental impacts, and the submission of an Annual Environmental Report. This report contains a record of the environmental performance over the previous 12 months, summary information on emissions and outlines the proposed developments over the coming year.
